This broadcast addresses one very important doctrine in the Bible and one very significant corruption in the modern Bibles.  The doctrine is the deity of Jesus Christ and the corruption is the change of the word “prophets” in Mk 1:2 based on the authority of corrupt Greek texts and corrupt Greek scholars to overthrow the authority of the King James Bible.

The deity of Christ.  Mal 3:1 is quoted in the New Testament in Mark 1:2.  The messenger is John the Baptist and he prepares the way before the Lord Jesus Christ.  In Malachi the messenger prepares the way before “me.”  “Me” in Mal 3:1 is a reference to God Almighty “the LORD of hosts.”  Any time you see the LORD you know that you are reading about Jehovah [the Tetragrammaton].  Thus, by comparing Mal 3:1 and Mark 1:2 we find that Jesus Christ and the LORD [God Almighty] are the same God.  Even the modern Bibles confirm Jesus’ deity in this regard.  Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh [1 Tim 3:16].

The corruption in modern Bibles.  Interestingly, Mk 1:2 says, “As it is written in the prophets…” [plural].  Mark is quoting Malachi 3:1 in Mk 1:2 and he is quoting Is 40:3 in Mk 1:3.  So, when Mark says, “in the prophets” he is telling you that he is quoting the writings of two prophets.

Here the modern Bibles are mistaken in that they change “the prophets” in Mk 1:2 to read, “Isaiah the prophet.”  This causes two problems.  First, Isaiah didn’t write what is quoted from Mal 1:2 and, second, there are two prophets that wrote what Mark quoted in Mk 1:2-3, exactly as the King James Bible says.

Most modern Bibles make this change because they mostly follow the same corrupt Greek texts, Sinaiticus and Vaticanus.  Even the Greek “scholars” who recognize that the King James Bible is correct, justify the change in the modern Bibles to support this corruption.

Thus, you cannot trust modern Bibles and you cannot trust Greek scholars who mess with God’s words.  Clearly the King James Bible is correct and the modern Bibles and scholars are not to be followed here, at all.
