Gospels - They had to believe
that He was the Son of God!
Great Commission -Then they had
to believe that He was risen!

Paul, when first beginning his ministry, it is to the Jews, and of course,
what would he teach? And when he had received meat, he was strengthened.
Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus. And
straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of
God.
Acts
9:19-20
But Saul
increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews
which
dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
Acts 9:22
But the belief that
Gentiles are to have today is NOT the belief that Christ is the Son of
God...
So why do people try
follow Peter?
We don't!
Well, we aren't suppose to, anyway!
